When TheIdeaWeb was being planned in early 1998, we explored the use of several different business services. A web host, domain registrar, and a programming firm were all needed to bring the site online and pursue our dream of user-oriented portal services.

Through our initial period of growth, many additional services were needed: marketing firms, content services, software and hardware vendors, etc. We had many good and bad experiences with a variety of business vendors.

Not surprisingly, some of our best experiences were with the firms that paid the most attention to our individual needs; The companies that communicated openly with us and provided the support we needed to stay on the path to success.

Unfortunately, these excellent services were few and far between. Often results were frustrating, with more than a few stumbling blocks along the way. A particular item which stands out in that rocky history was a web host that, when asked for a reason behind a what seemed to be a peculiar policy replied: "Reason? There is no reason, it's our policy." Better communication was obviously needed.

These experiences helped to re-enforce our overall business philosophy of putting our customer's needs first. The companies gave solid support and were open to customer input in their operations were those that profited the most from our patronage.

The importance of our philosophy to business customers was apparent. In early 2000, TheIdeaWeb expanded to offer web hosting services.

Today our business services include web hosting, domain registration, custom application development and a variety of other services related to internet business. Our focus remains on our customers; to ensure their success and satisfaction we not only provide reliable products but competent support and open communication. Our customers are treated like valuable partners. We value their input and always attempt to go above and beyond their needs - to exceed expectations rather than just meeting them.
